Cogent Adds to Proven Track Record of Successful OSB Projects

Cogent’s project management team successfully delivers OSB plant expansion project in Inverness, Scotland with rising demand for OSB in the UK and European markets, it was necessary for the capacity of Norbord’s Inverness facility to keep up with demand. The mill had been operating for approximately 30 years and required modernization to replace the aging infrastructure.

Cogent Completes Press Replacement and Modernization

Cogent worked closely with Weyerhaeuser and Siempelkamp to successfully modernize and install a new multi-open press at their Grayling, Michigan plant. Cogent’s scope was to provide electrical and overall system integration between the new press and existing systems.

Successful Completion of OSB Plant in Cordele, Georgia

Cogent has successfully completed the industrial automation and system integration for Norbord’s OSB plant expansion in Cordele, Georgia. Cogent’s proven project execution methodology and technology implementation ensured a fast start-up with low risk at the plant and helped further strengthen Norbord’s position as a low cost OSB producer.
